Terms & Conditions

CONFIRMATION

A signed ‘Contract for Wedding Photography Services’ and payment of a £100 non-refundable booking fee are required to confirm the photographic services of ‘JezBradhaw Photography’. The final balance is then due 14 days prior to your Wedding date.

PRE-PLANNING CONSULTATION

The parties agree to a pre-event consultation approximately four weeks prior to the wedding in order to finalise shooting times and the clients request for specific photographs.

COMPLETION SCHEDULE

JezBradshaw Photography aims to provide you with your wedding images within six weeks of your wedding date. During busy periods, please note that this may be increased.

ALBUM DESIGN

If a wedding album is included within your chosen package this will be designed once you have selected your preferred images or have passed over the right to the photographer to select the images. The Bride and Groom will be required to approve a draft of the design and only once this has been agreed will the album be sent to print. Printing can take up to four weeks, but as this is outsourced, the photographer cannot be held responsible for any delay.

CO-OPERATION

The client will be responsible for, or have someone designated to, identify people of whom specific photographs are desired.

THE SCHEDULE

Both the photographer and the Bride and Groom agree that punctuality and co-operation are essential. A good faith effort will be made to capture any requested photographs but due to the rapid pace and unpredictable nature of wedding photography it is impossible to guarantee that specific requested photographs will be captured.

ARTISTIC LICENSE

JezBradshaw Photography shall be granted artistic license and the photographers judgement regarding posing, lighting, locations used, photographing and editing shall be deemed correct. All decisions made are in the best interest of the client who will be given the highest quality selection from the images taken.

PAPARAZZI WEDDING GUESTS

JezBradshaw Photography is to be the sole and exclusive professional photographer. It is understood that wedding guests will of course want to take photos of the Bride and Groom, however, the photographer must be given precedence over your guests in order to take the wedding photographs required. JezBradshaw Photography cannot be held responsible for lack of wedding photos if guests taking their own photos of the Bride and Groom have interrupted the photographer’s work.

HOUSE RULES

Please note that photographers are sometimes limited by rules imposed by registrars, ministers and venue management as to what can and cannot be done. For example, some ministers insist that no flash photography is allowed and others insist that photographers can only shoot from a specific location. In such circumstances the Bride and Groom agree to accept the technical limitations that may be imposed on the equipment used. It is advised that the Bride and Groom make themselves aware of the rules of the venue and if necessary negotiate with the personnel concerned.

COPYRIGHT LAW

English Copyright Law states that the copyright of photographs remains with the photographer. The photographer grants the Bride and Groom permission to make copies of the images under the following conditions. The images taken by the photographer are for personal use by the Bride and Groom and their friends and relatives. Selling, publication or any commercial use of the photographs is not allowed without prior written permission from the photographer. The Bride and Groom are not permitted to pass on images to any third party, such as suppliers/wedding venues, that will be used for marketing or advertising purposes without written consent from the photographer.

MODEL RELEASE

The Bride and Groom grant the photographer the irrevocable and unlimited consent to use the photographs for editorial, competition, advertising and any other purpose.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

If the photographer is too ill or becomes injured and cannot supply the agreed wedding services, then liability is limited to a refund of any payments received and the photographer will make every effort to find a replacement photographer for you to book.

JezBradshaw Photography has working methods in place to prevent the loss or damage to your images. However, there is the unlikely possibility that images may be lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons beyond the photographer’s control. In these circumstances, liability is limited to the return of fees paid or part thereof according to the percentage of images supplied.

CANCELLATION

Written notice must be given to JezBradshaw Photography should you need to cancel your booking, but in doing so shall forfeit any monies paid. Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the date of the wedding will result in a £150.00 cancellation fee.

CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT

By booking with JezBradshaw Photography you hereby agree to enter into a contract with JezBradshawPhotography as detailed above. This contract complies with English Law and is subject to normal terms and conditions as a written contract would be.
